This past year was a very busy one for me on many fronts. It was a year of many changes in my business and set the pace for an even busier 2014.

I got a brand new meatball wagon in the spring, a daily permanent location to park it all summer at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club and now this past fall, I began production on a “docu-MEAT-ary” called “The Johnny Meatballs Experience.” This will tell the story of my personal and professional life in the format of an independent film which will continue to be shot by Moy Motions Productions into next year that we plan to eventually turn into a possible reality series. Clips will be aired on my youtube channel every month on the 27^th of each month at: www.youtube.com/thejohnnymeatballs.

I also am eager to begin filming a new national TV game show with Frankie Antipasto, a cooking competition where we will put our new sandwich invention: “The Sunday Gravy/Sauce Pot On a Roll” (the first variation sandwich of my classic meatball hero in five years) up against foodies across the country starting in January. My wife Megin is also set to begin filming her own show for a major network next month as well which will focus on her new profession of managing a plastic surgery center. So there’s a very good chance you will see The Meatball Family back on national TV again after our three year hiatus from Vh1’s “My Big Friggin’ Wedding.” Of course I also just bought a new food truck, The Johnny Meatball Mobile, to expand my operation and I hope to debut it on Super Bowl Weekend for my planned outdoor tailgate party which is still in the works!

So as you can see, there is a lot going on right now and I am so excited for 2014, the start of year #6 as Johnny Meatballs! But here’s a quick look back at all my various events of 2013…I did more gigs than any other year and served thousands and thousands of meatballs.
