The Sandwich Song

The Sandwich Song

Johnny Meatballs DeCarlo (January 29, 2013)

Chips on the side

Tools

Lunchtime is always the highlight of my day. I put together this little song about my favorite sandwich (prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers, tomatoes, oil & vinegar). Enjoy!

“Seng-A-Weech”

Hey, hey, hey…are ya ready to sing?

About a food that’s so exciting…

Meat and cheese and toppings too…

On a roll, get ready to drool!

So here is my favorite recipe…

1-2-3, get ready for a treat…

Oh, don’t say shoot, grab the pro-shoot

Ya know what goes swell, some mootz-a-rell!

And don’t forget, the roasted pepps

All on top of fresh baked bread!

Oh, don’t-cha-know, ya gotta go

With slices of Jersey toe-may-hey-toe!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

What I love, I love to eat!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

Yo, this meal just cannot be beat!

A sengwich always lifts my mood

Besides meatballs - my favorite food!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

What I love, I love to eat!

Oil and vinegar go so nice

That’s how ya make your sengwich right!

And on the side, for the car ride

A Manhattan Special over ice…

Don’t forget your bag o’ chips

You’ll never have a better lunch than this!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

What I love, I love to eat!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

This meal just cannot be beat!

A sengwich puts me in a lovely mood

Besides meatballs - my favorite food!

Seng-a-weech, seng-a-weech

What I love, I love to eat!

Sanga's

(That's what folk in Australia call sandwiches if they're using slang.... sanga's).

You must be passionate to write a song about Seng-a-weeches.

Not many people care so much about the simple things in life.
