I'm interested in IAWA but

I'm interested in IAWA but unsure how I can become a meaningful member. Sent fee weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. What am I missing.

Trying to be an Italian American writer in my later years. Believe I can make a contribution.

Any guidance?
