After fourteen years, I’m shutting down my website italianrap.com.
Launched in December 1998, italianrap.com soon became a point of encounter for members of the Italian diaspora, as hip hop heads from around the world reached out to me. The site’s bulletin board was a place where folks from Australia, Canada, Belgium, Italy, France, United States, and other points on the hip hop planet came together.
On August 30th, my personal website italianrap.com will cease to exist.

Following a wave of Italian and international protests, the national government has at least temporarily blocked the local decision to use an abandoned quarry at Corcolle, on the doorstep of the fabulous villa of the Emperor Hadrian, as a dump for Roman rubbish. The decision to place a gigantic garbage dump only 1.5 miles from one of Italy's greatest archaeological treasures - and Hadrian's Villa was designated as a UNESCO heritage site in 1999 - was based on necessity; an older rubbish fill at Malagrotta can contain no more.
Perugina School of Chocolate in collaboration with Eataly's Scuola Grande gives an opportunity to become an "Artista del Gusto" without having to travel to Italy. First classes were held this past Mother's Day and were a great success and loads of fun!

I LOVE SCHOOL UNIFORMS
I think they are great, they are a great leveler…they make all students look the same, regardless of how big their parents’ wallet is… I wish I had a uniform when I went to high school in Italy… not being exactly slender, my parents certainly not rich…and not being a fashion guru myself, I really struggled through my teenage years to find everyday clothes to go to school that:
1 Fitted me, 2 Could afford buying, 3 Were fashionable ....
