ROME — He has become an object of international derision, accused among other things of having sex with an underage prostitute. But Silvio Berlusconi is hinting that next spring he might once again seek to become Italy’s prime minister.

Body found, migrant search continues off Italy

Italian and NATO rescue crews searched the waters off a small Mediterranean island Friday for survivors of an apparently sunken migrant boat after some of the 56 rescued passengers reported that dozens more were missing. One body was recovered.

Perche - ci dice l'autrice delle foto nel corso della nostra intervista nella sua casa a Brooklin - "le persone che ritraggo in foto sorridono, giocano, pregano, lavorano, protestano... ". E' andata in Bolivia, Senegal, Egitto, Afghanistan... in luoghi e tra popoli, in un modo o nell’altro, “al limite”.

Costa Concordia anchoring marks first phase of ship recovery

Preliminary work to remove the doomed Costa Concordia cruise liner from Giglio Island began Thursday.Workers are attempting to anchor the wreck with cables so that it can be carefully turned upright and then re-floated away from the island.
