community.Spanning multiple generations, this event features Maria Lisella, Gil Fagiani, Paola Corso, Amy Barone, Barbara Hoffman, Nicholas Matros, Marisa Frasca, Kristina Gramlich, Anthony Buccino, Susan Scutti and Robert Viscusi. Hosted by Angelo Zeolla, this event is also a celebration and launch of Michael Cirelli’s controversial new poetry collection, Everyone Loves The Situation, that explores Guido culture (and loss of culture), and flips the cultural zeitgeist, MTV’s Jersey Shore, on its gelled and sprayed head. IAWA Featured Readers: Emari DiGiorgio and Luigi Monteferrante
Luigi Monteferrante, a Canadian writer and composer based in Italy, is currently
on tour promoting his latest work. From poetry to song, and experimental music,
he's enjoyed airplay on Radio Studio 8 (Washington), Canada's CBC 3, Fleet FM
(NZ). Since his residency at STEIM, Amsterdam's prestigious experimental music
center, August 2009, Luigi has been writing for the stage, with a musical and
several plays. His short stories have appeared twice in Chicago Quarterly Review
and recently in Happy and Taylor Trust. Monteferrante’s poetry can be seen in
Quills Canadian Poetry, Fractions, Neon, Forma Fluens, Poesia/Indiana Bay, Motel

Emari DiGiorgio teaches at The Richard Stockton College of NJ and is a NJ State
Council on the Arts Poet-in-the-Schools. She is the recipient of a Vermont
Studio Center Residency, a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Poetry
Fellowship, and the Ellen La Forge Memorial Poetry Prize. Her poems have
