Second Annual San Diego Italian Film Festival Closes Today
The Second Annual San Diego Italian Film Festival will close today, October 18th, after a run of two weeks.
The SD Italian Film Festival's second run, from Oct. 3rd-Oct.19th, closes today with a screening of Mio fratello e' figlio unico, which will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the topic of the piazza as a place of gathering and social cooperation. Panelists will include film critic Beth Accomando (KPBS), Prof. Victor Laruccia (SDIFF), Prof.
Clarissa Clo' (San Diego State University), and Prof. Pasquale Verdicchio (UCSD). Topics will range from the piazza as the location of place memory, to the web and internet as newly defined spaces of cultural interaction.
