A three star rating can be more impressive than receiving five stars.

The other day I decided to see if I received any new customer reviews on Amazon for my book, "What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug?

Leading with the Heart Instead of the Chin."  I was happy to see there were, until I noticed that one of them was a mere three star review.  The Amazon rating system allows for the reviewer to choose from one to five stars, five being the best.  This made me apprehensive.  Three stars is not terrible, but in the past I have been compared by an anonymous on-line reviewer via Netflix as having the filmmaking ability of an inept "shit-flinging monkey" regarding a documentary I've made.  So in spite of being a little gun shy, I read the review.  I was stunned.  This mere three star review is the best review I've received so far.  Especially because of the circumstances surrounding it.  Here's what this verified Amazon customer from Ft. Lauderdale, FL had to say;

"I downloaded this book to my kindle by accident; I was looking for books about Godzilla because my 5 year old loves Godzilla. When I started to read him this story, I realized that this was not a children's book. I had no idea. So later on that week when I was bored waiting around in Jury Duty, I started reading it, and to my surprise found it very entertaining. This is a very cute and heartwarming story that gives some pretty good and simple tips on how to live life and enjoy the simple things. I recommend it, I found it funny and sweet as well."

I love happy accidents.  If you are interested in the rest of the story of my being compared to a "shit-flinging monkey" that's all in the book.  Thank you. :)
