A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and Hofstra School of Law, Ms. Liuzzo has been active in the field of immigration and nationality law for more than sixteen (16+) years.
As a prominent member of the community, Ms. Liuzzo has been frequently recognized for her commitment to immigrants as well as for her service to the community. She has been named Woman of the Year by the Italian Language Intercultural Alliance, "Best of New York" by the Italian Tribune, featured in the 2013 PrimiDieci under Forty and has received the Scalabrini Medal of Service to the Immigrant by the American Committee on Italian Migration. Ms Liuzzo currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, serves as legal advisor to the Italian Language Intercultural Alliance as well as the Italy-American Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Liuzzo serves as a frequent speaker on U.S. Immigration & Nationality laws having been interviewed as well as having authored articles for a number of publications appearing in both the Italian and U.S. media.
