Being profoundly poetry challenged – I simply can’t read the 'stuff '. A couple of lines of poetry in any form and my brain shuts down, I begin thinking about the Mets’ Bullpen or “True Detective”. Accordingly, I normally would 'have-no-truck' with Gregory Corso. However, the recent publication of “The Whole Shot”, a collection of interviews with him spanning the period from 1955 to 1982, got my attention.
