"Pure chest'è cos'e niente, no?
Quanto sei bella, quanto eri bella e guarda me che so' diventato a furie 'e dicere è cos'e niente, siamo diventati due cos'e niente io e te."
He's Eduardo De Filippo. I trust that everybody knows him and, if you don't, discover him, absolutely.
This is a quote from "Peppino Girella", written and directed by Eduardo but, indeed, I feel it as a dedication for my country, Campania.
(In Neapolitan dialect it looks better. So, sorry for my bad English and excuse me, Eduardo for this horrible translation!)
"Also this is nothing thing. It's always nothing thing. It's always nothing thing, we have solved every situations in this way: "it's nothing thing". We haven't to eat, it's nothing thing; we haven't the necessary, it's nothing thing; the boss is dead and I lose my work, it's nothing thing; they deny us the right to live, it's nothing thing; they deny us the air, what you wanna do? It's nothing thing.
It's always nothing thing... Now you're so beautiful, you were so beautiful and look at me now what I've become by dint of say "it's nothing thing". We've become two nothing things, me and you."
